A woman in Chwele, Bungoma County “betrayed” her husband when she revealed his secret to the community in order to save her marriage.

Asha Nalongo spelt the beans on her husband making him to be forcefully circumcised. Though forceful circumcision is illegal, it is a taboo for mature men to be uncircumcised in Bukusu community.
With Chwele elders knowing the 39-year-old man hasn’t undergone the cut, they forcibly circumcised him in front of thousand on-lookers who were curious to see him undergoing the cut.
